For Immediate Release: Open Letter to Lori Lightfoot Chicago Mayor RE: Systematic Killing Spree of Young Women in Chicago

Dear Lori Lightfoot,

Good Morning Mayor, congratulations on your recent victory please accept this letter as a call for sincere urgency our community simply for justice and preservation of lives. Lori-Last night, I along with my associate Champlain addressed the C.O.P.A Board In reference to the demand for action with regards to a potential serial killer on the loose in “Poorer Urbans Areas” in Chicago with growing facts that both proven and unproven-that shows a trend of more then fifty one bodies of young women of color found with mutilated bodies found in an unusual manner in abandoned building, alleys, or garbage cans. Facts would show that a consistency that the bodies were burnt (as to destroy evidence).

For the record-I as a member of the Clergy and a Faith Leader have worked restorative justice in a community justice capacity for over 10 years based in Chicago. Our organization Freedom First International is an organization that has engaged in correcting some of the most infamous civil rights cases in America over the past ten years.

Chicago does have a serious issue- just as Jack the Ripper terrorized London in 1888, killing at least five women and mutilating their bodies in an unusual manner, indicating that the killer had a substantial knowledge of human anatomy. The culprit was never captured—or even identified—and Jack the Ripper remains one of England’s, and the world’s, most infamous.

It is with this tragic thought in mind that we would ask for a urgent Public notices and convening a task force to take immediate actions to protect members of the community. While we all should understand that this is a very serious matter, urgency can be placed, and also certain steps should be taken to ensure direction of action urgency to assist in attempts curtaining further murders.

For our part we will work with you, your office, Chief Johnson, Police officials and any group to protect those members of our community. You still have time to do something about this issue. Change the trajectory. Make a different history.

We are hoping that this effort stand out amoungst is the first initiatives after your oath of office. Again, we are hoping that this effort stand out amoungst is the first initiatives after your oath of office.

For the Record we will continue our efforts to draw immediate public attention to this travesty of justice-this is taking our future.

Sincerely,

Bishop Gregg L.Greer President of Freedom First International

For Immediate Release: Freedom First International and other Community Activist Groups Urge action about potential serial killer in Chicago’s Urban Areas

Bishop Gregg L.Greer and Chicago Community Activist Leadership will address the police board meeting (at Chicago Police Board Headquarters) as well as conduct a press conference before the meeting urging Chicago Police Leadership and New Chicago Mayor to address recent explosive reports that Chicago may have a serial killer on the loose.

Freedom First International and groups have grown deeply concerned about a growing list of more than 50 deaths in recent months.  Freedom First International agrees with the findings of the Murder Accountability Project, which shows via computer formula highlights a pattern of killings — 50 females strangled and dumped since 2001 that could suggest signal a serial killer.

“This isn’t something we’re going to sweet under the rug or put up on the shelf for it to disappear,” said CPD Supt. Eddie Johnson. “We still investigate these cases.”

“There’s simply nothing there right now that suggests that we have serial killers in the City of Chicago,” Johnson said.

Johnson says he’s deeply concerned about these 50 deaths. But the head of the Murder Accountability Project, Thomas Hargrove, says research might show otherwise.

“It’s highly unlikely these 50 women were murdered by 50 separate men,” Hargrove said.

Tonight Freedom First International is asking The Police board including New Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to stand with victims’ families and community members demanding answers and announce a task force to address the potential of Serial Killer in Chicago’s urban areas.

Freedom First International and coalitions partner groups are urging a review of the murder cases on March 21, saying she hopes it will give some “peace” to surviving family members and “let the world know black lives do matter.”
