For Immediate Release: Call for All Americans to Block President Donald Trumps State of the Union Show

Freedom First Internal is calling for a viewer ban of President Donald J. Trumps “State of the Union address” on this Tuesday night. In the past President Trump has boasted that the viewership of his State of the Union speech was “the highest number in history” — many times those claims are odds with ratings figures released the day after.

For example, one year to date- Trump thanked supporters “for all the nice compliments and reviews” of his address and said 45.6 million people had watched.

Donald J. Trump

Thank you for all of the nice compliments and reviews on the State of the Union speech. 45.6 million people watched, the highest number in history. @FoxNews beat every other Network, for the first time ever, with 11.7 million people tuning in. Delivered from the heart!

In reality, the audience was smaller than the 48 million who watched Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress last year and smaller than several speeches delivered by recent predecessors. Barack Obama’s joint session speech in 2009 drew 52 million viewers; George W. Bush’s State of the Union address in 2003 drew 62 million viewers, and Bill Clinton’s joint session speech in 1993 drew 67 million viewers.

A White House official, who was not authorized to speak for the president and spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that Trump intended to say that the cable ratings for his speech were the highest ever. In addition to the broadcast networks, the speech was carried on several cable networks, including Fox News, MSNBC and CNN, as well as the Spanish-language channels Univision and Telemundo.

We understand that the Trump administration uses the viewership of the state of the Union as noted in his tweet that Fox News to suggest favorability with his agenda.

Mr. Trump’s approval rating has a net negative among the nation’s voters, and more say things in the country is on the wrong track than that they are going in the right direction.

We highlight Mr. Trumps struggle and lack of clarity with growing racist incidents around the country

More recently, his political rise was built on promulgating the lie that the nation’s first black president was born in Kenya. He then launched his campaign with a speech describing Mexicans as rapists.

The media often falls back on euphemisms when describing Trump’s comments about race: racially loaded, racially charged, racially tinged, racially sensitive. And Trump himself has claimed that he is “the least racist person.” But here’s the truth: Donald Trump is a racist. He talks about and treats people differently based on their race. We at Freedom First International stand with a growing number of Dissatisfied Americans who believe He has done so for years, and he is still doing so.

Lastly, Our organization with other groups is now planning a major protest in Downtown Chicago to offset and also in opposition to the state of the Union.

The time will be Tuesday 1 East Jackson Blvd Chicago, IL at 4:30p. Two years ago our group along with others put just over 16,000 folks in Downtown Chicago to Protest the Trump election.

We are firmly convinced that we are on the right side of history and Mr.Trump’s dangerous racist agenda must be stopped.

For immediate Release:  Alton Sterling’s Life mattered-Many American’s are voicing disapproval of The American Police State- Urge for immediate change of U.S. Police Policy. (Media Briefing)

For immediate Release Alton Sterling’s Life mattered-Many American’s are voicing disapproval of The American Police State- Urge for immediate change of Police policy. (Media Briefing)

In the case of Alton Sterling our hearts go out to the family:

We are now at a time- In The United States when many people feel that we (community) can’t depend on the United States Government, The Department of Justice and more specifically-in communities around the country people have grown overly weary of community policing.

To an unaware public  “Killer Cops” in many of these, “well known” national cases stay on the streets without certain and swift prosecution. To an unhappy America public-to top it all-the level of distrust looms for a government that overwhelmingly appears to have grown “openly”  self serving, and will not represent the interest of the public.
Our Message to “The Political World,” “The Justice System” and the “U.S. Courts,”- is now simply that at some point you have to make around to smooth out rough edges.
You must bring urgently needed reform to an American Justice system that for many who live in the minority, poor and oppressed communities is totally broken.
Please Note: We all feel-The people are not being served, period when,-The Jeff Sessions-Department of Justice sends a message-that as long as you wear a
badge “you are above the law, ” We won’t investigate cops.
The people are not being served-when- The current U.S. President tells a graduating crowd of police officers, not to be “too nice” to suspected gang members and others under arrest.

“When you see thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in; rough. I said, ‘please don’t be too nice,”  according to Trump.

“The whole thing is not just about Alton … it’s about justice in all of our American community nationally and internally.”
We call it final justice because we the people are tired now. After Tamir Rice, after John Crawford, after Eric Garner, we are tired now, and the only alternative must be for change-no other remedy will do!

Please Note: So we stand with a determination that sends one message-If you don’t give the people justice, then they will take it upon themselves and give themselves their own justice-if that begins to happen it would be more tragic for America, and with that no one wins.

Media Statement: The Tragic Speech of Donald Trump on 8-22-2017

Media Brief:

Media Statement: The Tragic  Speech of Donald Trump

(For Immediate Release-Statement from the Freedom First International and it’s National President)

This evening Mr. Trump one again- fully engulfed himself in the “hate” speech that unfortunately continues to separate our national community. According to reports,  President Donald Trump on Tuesday defended his previous responses to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, while omitting that he blamed the clashes on “many sides.” The many sides meant that even the most violent “hate groups and their actions of hate were sanctioned”
Tonight- The speech was not only divisive but gives attack to one of the staples of democracy and any resemblance that we currently understand as peaceful citizens. To further, Donald Trumps speech and actions attacks the memory of a young civil rights worker Heather D. Heyer, who died tragically and was killed by hatemongers in Charlotesville, VA
As one of the organizers who put 16,000 people in downtown Chicago after the election, and one of the organizations who has been on the forefront to address the cancer of hatred that we now see on rise in our country-we believe that Americans must make a choice for the safety of our union. WITHOUT DOUBT-This president must go! We must urge all political pundits to commit to a strategy for removal!
Those who continue to stand with Mr.Trump are doing a grave injustice to everything that we believe when we say,-Truth, Justice and the American Way. You must now-make a choice-all efforts must be to “drain the swap of this president-the main swamp dog!

For Immediate Release: Statement After Grands Rapids Police hold “Group of innocent Youths” at gun point! Protest are scheduled

(For Immediate Release-Statement from the Freedom First International President)

The questions we must ask ourselves. We could ask-Why would any police take the word of a man and hold a pistol over the body of 13-year-old boys? Why would any witness’ come forward with a story that was not correct?
Why-It’s because- They are victims of a police force that overwhelmingly assumes first that most young black men are criminals followed by fear of them. They are victims of bad legislation, like the Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, that gives anyone the unfettered right to kill “us” if they feel threatened in any way by “us.”.
We need more love in our communities! We don’t see the same love and acceptance our black children unconditionally that you see in other communities even the white areas. Regardless of our child’s age- We demand respect and to instill feelings of acceptance and self-worth. I would suggest to the Police on the ground that day-You teach children, by how you treat them, that they are valuable and worthy of love.
At any point, these children could have been a Trayvon Martin or a Tamir Rice? As Police Officials, you have the power to stave off feelings of emptiness that these young men feel day by day but it’s that unfortunate you choose not to! Instead, you penalize the children and for the rest of their lives, they develop a mistrust of Police Officials.
Sure, you say that pointing the Gun at them was a protocol and procedure but I ask did you- talk to your children about racism ― tell them that Tamir Rice was just an innocent child whose death was motivated by racism.
Ultimately some of these questions will be answered by investigators. Other questions—the deeper, more disturbing ones that ask about equality and intolerance—must be answered by our communities, and we will not accept any answer as sufficient. We will be the voice that controls the Narrative of our community.
For your part, a public apology is in order and I also ask that you make a proclamation for change. Nothing else will be sufficient.
For my part I’m organizing a “Peaceful Protest Rally to be scheduled at  1 Monroe Center St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 at noon this Saturday.”

This date has dual significance because it was after a jury acquitted four police officers in 1991 when the videotaped beating of Rodney King, a Black motorist, widespread riots broke out in South Central Los Angeles.
Also, this date makes the 100th day that Donald Trump is in Office and under his Department of Justice is very challenged to act in civil court cases against police misconduct,  While U.S. cities have made steady progress in the management of the use of force and racial profiling. It is tragic that the Trump administration’s Department of Justice is turning its back on that progress, depriving Americans of the effective, safe and constitutional policing.

Media Statement: The Danger of Mr.Trumps Nuclear Tweet

(For Immediate Release-Statement from the Freedom First International President)
Less than 24 hours ago, Mr. Trump-American President Elect, shocked many when he sent a tweet addressing the need for more nuclear weapons? This move was defensible and came hours after Mr.Putin the Russian President addressed a similar need.

In contrast -I along with many others in the nation agree with-Dr Martin Luther King Jr. when argued for the centrality of his anti-militarism advocacy most eloquently on April 4, 1967, at Riverside Church in New York City quoted:

A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift” – are a recipe, he said, for certain “spiritual death”

I believe the major issue on hand is that there is no actual justification for the such a public notice, in addition the timing seems suspect. This move has many concerned, and that this is not the process of a rational thinker at all. Even if we needed more nuclear weaponry-is this something to broadcast “willy nilly,” over a tweet? This is wrong on so many levels.

In the light of the foregoing we urge all people of faith to stand with us now to send a clear and resounding message to following:
We Must see the urgency of the moment then say to Mr.Trump and his entire cabinet and supporters, Cease playing with the lives of American citizens-This is certainly a dangerous trend-that must stop.  In the name of all that we value, in the name of humanity!
